Grow Room Space Planning

It is extremely important in your new facility to maximize every square inch of your grow area, lab area, curation, packaging, and shipping. At Grow Enclosures™ we work with you to plan your entire facility and product workflows. We have been planning and executing projects for Fortune 500 companies around the world for almost 30 years. There is not a larger more effective company in the modular space than us.

Creating a small-scale plan and understanding every aspect of your real estate and working areas can maximize massive amounts of profit over the long-term. This also helps you plan ahead and understand all of your business processes. It certainly is easier to manipulate changes on a drawing than to rebuild your facility once it’s wrong.

Once you have a real estate space we need your facility measurements. Then it is time to draw your Hydro room, grow room, laboratories, curation rooms or other facilities that you require. Depending on the type of product you will be outputting, you may need an FDA- approved facility to package food, edibles or consumables. In addition, some of these areas may need to happen in a clean or cleanroom environment.

Grow Enclosures™ will work with you to draw out your entire plan so you can better assess how the layout will best suit the type of product output you will be growing. You not only want to lay out where all the plants would be, but you would also want to draw your lighting, water reservoir, and utility areas and make them as close to the electrical panel source as possible.  As a rule of thumb, you will require about one-square-foot per plant. Depending on the high-value plant that you’re growing, you may need a bit more than this, but it certainly is a good rule of thumb.

Choosing the right lights will determine the amount of ventilation you may need.  Some lights produce a lot less heat than others, and they may need to be vented outside the room. Others may not be an issue at all.

What’s most important is taking the time to organize and plan. This will make it a lot easier for the challenges you face ahead. Let Grow Enclosures™ help you develop an entire plan for your success in your new or additional cannabis grow room.

Insulation of Grow Rooms We see insulation all around us. Animals are covered in fur, which is one of nature’s forms of insulation.
