What is a modular building?
A standing single or two story structure or enclosure composed of multiple prefabricated wall sections, or modules, which are combined together in a systematical format allowing relative ease of assembly, quick installation and the ability to disassemble and move the structure in units or in its original unassembled sections for later reassembly and reuse. Because of a modular building’s nature, windows, doors, ceiling, roofing, and more can easily be added to it as well.

Currently, we do not ship overseas. We do however ship to all U.S. 50 states and Canada

Why build with a modular wall system as opposed to building with traditional gyp and stud construction?
Modular wall systems offer a quick, affordable, flexible solution that grows with your business. Modular systems are prefabricated in a factory, using fewer raw materials and making more efficient use of materials and labor. Modular parts are then transported to and installed on the building site. Installation is quick and clean: take it down, reconfigure, rebuild…you don’t have to worry about patching and painting. Your business will experience virtually no downtime.
Are modular buildings sturdy?
You bet they are! All modular buildings are built to comply with all local building codes and seismic codes. Once a modular building goes up, it stays up until you decide to take it down. We offer an economical 2” wall thickness or even a 4” wall thickness to resemble a more traditional wall look and feel.
How long does it take to build a modular building?
Not very long. Generally speaking, modular buildings can be built in 1/3 of the time of hard construction projects.
What does “UL classified” mean?
UL classification pertains to the highly sought-after seal of approval that UL, the Underwriters Laboratory gives out to the best-made, safest products. For UL to give out their approval, a product undergoes lengthy, rigorous lab tests in order to guarantee that the product is completely safe. All Grow Enclosures electrical systems are UL classified, which means they have prevailed over all sorts of possible failures. UL classified electrical systems are as safe as they come.
Are modular buildings ready-to-use?
Yes. Grow Enclosures specializes in turn-key installations, which means, when a modular building is installed, it is ready-to-use on the spot. That means working doors, power outlets, wall switches, and everything are ready-to-use for whatever tasks you have planned.
Do you have to paint a modular building?
All respective modular building parts are either anodized or powder coated in the factory, which means they are delivered already painted. Wall panels are prefinished in the factory with the industry’s largest selection of colors: no more hiring painters and dealing with messy paint spills.
What is powder coating as opposed to conventional painting?
Powder coating is a type of glaze that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and powder is that the coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a skin. It is used to create a hard finish that is much tougher than conventional paint, so there is no need to repaint in the future. We offer the largest selection of colors in the industry. We do! We have a facility in California and another facility in Tennessee, so whether you are on the East Coast, West Coast, or anywhere in between, we can ship to you with relatively low costs.
I heard modular enclosures feature green construction. How so?
Modular buildings are green on several levels. Not only are modular buildings made of reusable, recyclable materials, but the modular wall structures themselves can be taken down and rearranged to accommodate a host of applications. No more tearing down buildings and disposing of them as in hard construction. Also, green construction offers a smaller footprint when it comes to manufacturing and building. Do you offer warranties on your products?
We do. We offer 10 year warranties on interior buildings and 1 year warranties on exterior buildings. Manufacturer’s warranties apply for all of our accessories.
How can I be sure my modular building parts are shipped intact and undamaged?
Grow Enclosures offers a fantastic “Worry-Free Freight” protection service for all shipments of modular product. This places Grow Enclosures as 100% responsible for all shipped goods. If any parts are lost or damaged in transit, we will replace them free of charge. We handle everything from reordering damaged items to reshipping those items to the jobsite ASAP.
Do you offer installation services?
Yes we do. We offer installation services by Grow Enclosures’s own factory certified installers. Our installers have undergone rigorous training to ensure that your modular buildings are correctly installed quickly and efficiently.
What do I do if I need to permit my building?
Grow Enclosures has an engineering department that can provide architectural packages that include architectural drawings, plans, structural calculations, and title 24 energy calculations to submit to your local building department to obtain a permit.
